Another achievement in the field of performing arts Chavindra Kumar Dhruv of class 9th bagged 3rd prize in All India music 🎶 & Dance competition in Solo tabla instumental (senior group) .
Shakuntala Vidyalaya joyfully celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. This year’s theme, "One Earth, One Health," highlighted the vital connection between personal well being and global harmony. The school actively took part in performing various asanas, pranayam and meditation promoting a sense of unity, inner peace and physical fitness.
World Music Day -June 21st is observed as "World Music Day" to felicitate those personalities who have gifted the society such a melody that mesmerizes and sooths the tumultuous souls . Moreover, it is celebrated to provide a platform to the amateur and professional musicians to showcase their talents. Shakuntala fraternity also contributed to this event and conducted various activities in the premises with great pomp and show during which the budding artists made their performance that proved a Razzmatazz for the institution.
Another achievement in Performing Art. Jasmeet Singh of class IX was felicitated for his outstanding performance in solo tabla competition under the banner of Nritya dham kala samiti,Megha malhar
19th June is celebrated as "The National Reading Day " all over India ,in the commemoration of P.N Panicker's exclusive and iconic contributions in promoting Literacy and establishing Libraries across India ,who is a brand name as The Father of Library and Literacy Movement .Shakuntala vidyalaya also ensured its enthusiastic participation and joined hands with the rest by organizing a variety of activities including Reading prose ,reciting poetry etc . The noble endeavor of Honourable P.N.Panicker is tried to propagate through the said activities among students .
Another milestone in the journey of performing arts. Kavya Dewangan of Standard 10 & Pratika Langiwal of Standard 11 participated in Tarang All India National Fine arts, Music Competition organised by Kathak Rockers in Darjeeling West Bengal and secured outstanding position in Painting and awarded scholarship.Kavya Dewangan also bagged 1st position in Classical Dance Odissi organised by Shimla International Cultural harmony Himshikar festival.
Prakriti Sahu and Chief Havge of class X bagged Certificate of Merit for their outstanding performance at CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2024-25
Himakshi Manikpuri of class VIII is awarded with Merit Certificate by CBSE for CBSE Budding Authors Programme. The English stories submitted by the participants will be published by the CBSE as e-book. Congratulations to the budding author.
