The smiling countenance of the cloudy firmament seemed to echo the festive spirit of Onam. Shakuntala Vidyalaya’s heartfelt endeavour received thunderous applause as the children presented a short play depicting the Vamana Avatar (Dwarf Incarnation of Lord Vishnu) and the great Mahabali King followed by a vibrant group dance. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed with traditional tilak and badges. The entire premises of the alma mater appeared to be immersed in the rich Kerala culture and festive spirit, beautifully reflecting the essence and grandeur of Onam.
